Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

To submit an infringement claim, you must provide specific information outlined below.

Notice of Infringement – Claim

  1. A signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed;
  3. Identification of the infringing material and information to locate it;
  4. Contact information of the complaining party;
  5. A statement that the use of the material is unauthorized;
  6. A statement that the information is accurate and the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

There are penalties under Title 17 USC §512(f) for misrepresentation in a notification of infringement under 17 USC §512(c)(3).

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If you receive a takedown notice due to a copyright claim, you can provide a counter notification to have the material restored. The counter notification must include:

  1. Your signature.
  2. Description of the material taken down and its original location.
  3. A statement that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction for legal matters.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We take copyright infringement seriously and maintain a list of DMCA notices. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
